About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Emergency department

(as a relative),

My mum was sent to ED by her GP, we would both like to thank all the staff who looked after her. The department was incredibly busy and the staff were dealing with challenging circumstances (it was standing room only) but everyone we encountered was pleasant and professional. Thank you for all that you do, it's definitely not easy! One thing that could be improved that the waiting area tv too loud and it was hard to hear the names called.

Thank you for your kind words regarding our team and I have passed on your recommendation regarding the television to the reception. Despite the pressure our team try to see patients in a safe timely manner. Thank you for you patience and understanding.
