"Seen quickly for skin lesion"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I went to my surgery for my yearly medication review and I asked the nurse to look at a little skin lesion on the side of my eye. She took a photo of it, showed it to the doctor and they referred me to see the dermatologist. I was seen really quickly and they told me it was just a viral wart and nothing to worry about, so I was very pleased, thank you.

Dear falcondb58,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story.

I am pleased to hear you felt you were seen quickly following your annual review with the nurses with the concerns regarding your skin lesion.

Even better news that it was nothing of concern!

Kind regards

Alicia
