"The group overall was good"

About: Community Forensic Services / Nottinghamshire MBT Service

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

MBTi was helpful to share and listen to other people and their ideas. It left me feeling like I’m not the only one who has these difficulties. The group overall was good, and I really enjoyed it. I’m not looking forward to going into the next group and have to do it all again (i.e., meeting/getting used to new people).

Dear MBTi group member,

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your experience of the MBTi group. It's lovely to hear you found the group helpful by sharing and listening to others, this is something we often hear from people and can help them feel less alone with their thoughts/difficulties.

We appreciate joining a group can be anxiety provoking and having to do this again from the MBTi group to the MBT group. Please be assured we do carefully think about group members going in with someone they know from the MBTi group, however this is not always possible due to individual commitments and available group spaces. We also find it important for our groups to be rolling for new members to work with existing group members who can role model and share their experience of being in a therapy group.

I hope your next step into MBT therapy goes well and want to wish you all the best.

Best wishes,

Amy
