"Pulmonary rehabilitation course"

About: Community Nursing / Pulmonary Rehabilitation

(as a service user),

I have recently attended a pulmonary rehabilitation course at Websters High school, Kirriemuir.  The class involved set exercises and valuable information.

I have learnt more about my condition (copd) in the last 5 weeks than in all the time since my diagnosis 5yrs ago!

The course has been great fun too, due to the characters attending and also the staff.

I feel so much better both physically and mentally, as I was worrying about a lot of things to do with my health, money and future prospects. All of these topics were addressed.

I know I'm never going to be cured but the staff have given me the tools to move forward with more confidence

Dear Lanky legs,

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us of your experiences at pulmonary rehabilitation in Kirriemuir.

I am delighted you had such a positive experience and feel better mentally and physically. It is fantastic to hear you have learned so much regarding your COPD and that some of your worries have reduced as a result of coming to pulmonary rehabilitation.

I will pass on your kind words to the team- I know they will really appreciate and value your feedback.

Kind regards

Lynn.
