About: Grantham & District Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I recently underwent a laparoscopic sterilization procedure at Grantham Hospital, and I am overflowing with gratitude for the exceptional care I received.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being.

Nurse Elizabeth was an absolute gem, addressing all my concerns and easing any anxieties I had about the procedure.

The expertise and professionalism of the surgeons and anaesthetists were truly remarkable, and I am deeply thankful to each and every person involved in my care for making me feel so welcomed and at ease throughout the process.

Thank you so much for sending in this to us and your comments, as the staff are so pleased to see that patients have taken the time to do this – I hope you are recovering well and I will ensure Elizabeth reads them as well as the theatre teams and Doctors.

As Matron for the Hub, I am very pleased to read your comments and that you felt we went above and beyond, as this is what we strive to make patients feel when they come to us and your experience and comments are testament that we are getting this right.
