My son was attending Speech and Language and then got offered the opportunity to attend with Linda - Clinical Lead for Developmental Language disorder in Dungannon Health Centre.

My son was 6 when he started with Linda. His speech wasn't 100% and Linda worked with us weekly to help him. He just loved going and soon got onto the sounds. He has now finished with Linda and completed a Language test and got scored high.

The best feeling was when my son was saying his friends can now understand him better. I couldn't thank Linda enough for the work she does. My son is more happy and got on so well with Linda and it made a big difference with his speech.

Thank you authenticnj68 for sharing this lovely feedback on Linda. I am delighted to hear about the progress your son has made under her care.

I am particularly pleased to learn about the positive impact that Linda's help has had on your son socially with his friends and in how he is feeling in himself. It proves that the right intervention at the right time can be life changing for our children.

In her Clinical Lead role Linda has many responsibilities. I know for sure though that her greatest satisfaction at work continues to come from supporting the children in her care and their families. Your feedback will mean a lot to her.

I will make sure to pass on your kind words to Linda and the wider SLT team. Thank you once again for highlighting the great work Linda is doing and the impact that this has had on your son's life.
