"TIA clinic waiting area"

The TIA clinic is not fit for purpose. Arrived on time with elderly mother to be told to wait in lift lobby area where there was only 1 chair. Luckily she was in a wheelchair so had somewhere to sit. Waited 25 mins. When eventually called consultant strode ahead so door closed in our face before we had time to get into stroke unit. Consultant dismissive and spoke to me rather than my elderly mother who was the patient. I had to tell him he could talk to her! The service and processes were very disappointing all round.
