"Great people working in difficult conditions"

About: New Cross Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as a service user),

I needed a new CPAP mask from the respiratory centre, due to work commitments I had found it hard to get down to New Cross.

During a short break, I thought I’d drop down and collect. The negative side to the story is that the parking was absolutely atrocious And myself driving around the site stuck in queues waiting for spaces that won’t open.

I was about to give up but thought I’d give the centre a quick call to let them know that I’m not gonna be able to collect. In stark contrast to my frustrations, the lady and the end of the phone immediately sympathised with my situation and personally brought out the CPAP mask to my car whilst I was waiting in another queue.

My conclusion is that New Cross Hospital has some fantastic people working there under very difficult conditions.
