"Positive experiences for both cataract procedures."

I would like to convey sincere thanks to all the staff involved in my care, at my recent two cataract operations, at Sunderland Eye Infirmary. The two different surgeons, and teams caring for me, at the two procedures, did everything possible, to make me comfortable throughout. I have a chronic back problem, and was anxious about the position I would have to be in, during the operation. Everything possible, was done to put me at my ease, and to ensure that I was as comfortable as possible. The improvement in my sight, after the first operation, six weeks ago, was beyond belief. It is

just over 24 hours now, since my second eye was done. My sight in eye two is already improving. I am watching TV, without wearing my glasses, which is remarkable. The eye drops procedures, following the operations was well explained, and we are coping well with that, at home. The two consultant surgeons really delivered an expert service, instilling me with much confidence. The care teams were truly outstanding. I could not have experienced a greater level Ievel of care, throughout. My sincere thanks, and congratulations to all, for providing a superb service. It is much appreciated.
