My son was admitted this morning on Ward 21 (Darlington Memorial) to have grommets fitted. Like any mother I have been dreading the day however my son, who is 2 years old, was oblivious.
I have nothing but praise for both the staff on ward 21 and those I met in the theatre, they were kind, compassionate and instantly put my mind at ease.
Thank you all for taking care of my son and his anxious mother, all the while doing a fantastic job!!
