I have been with this surgery for 8 years and I have very little positive to say! The chances of an appointment, even with an unwell baby or chronic earache where I was left for 3 days before begging to be seen, are unlikely.
I have now tried 4 times to get a smear test. I am a capable person, fully literate and it is a battle every single time. They now offer only one day a week when a nurse is present (similar now for childrens jabs) and the out of hours appointments based elsewhere are not suitable or simply unavailable. Trying to book even a month in advance is impossible so it is a constant cycle of calling, having no success and needing to call back.
The receptionist also tells me there is no way to email to complain to the practice manager, hence a public review.
Poor to non existent care all round and poor communication. I am looking at transferring as soon as possible and also now have private GP cover as this is so bad. In contrast, my young daughter was seen within 2 hours last week when I was on holiday in a different part of the country! Unheard of at Lichfield Grove, unfortunately.
"Poor care and appointments rare!"
