(as a parent/guardian),

My son was experiencing chest pains, and after a call to NHS24, we were told to make our way to Accident and Emergency at the Borders General Hospital.

We were triaged by Staff Nurse Caitlin, who also provided care throughout our visit. Caitlin was absolutely fantastic - she dealt with my son and his health complaints with a such compassion and understanding, explaining what was happening every step of the way.

Caitlin reassured my very anxious son (and me) and really met his needs throughout, despite A&E being very busy.

Thank you so much to Caitlin for making a really worrying time much more manageable and for putting our minds at ease.
