About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I was in ward 43 today for a gynaecology appointment. Just that in itself makes for an apprehensive appointment.

I would like to thank the lovely staff that I saw. They were all so friendly and put me at ease, the doctor, the student, the nurse and the HCA. They all  listened to my concerns and validated them.

So thank you to a wonderful team xxx

Thank you so much for taking the time to express your thanks to staff when you attended your outpatient hysteroscopy appointment.

I will be sure to pass on this compliment to the ward manager so she can relay this message to the staff involved,

Attending for appointments can often be an anxious time for a lot of patients and I am heartened to hear the staff listened to your concerns and were able to provide you with reassurance, to make this appointment a more positive one for you.
