"From admission to discharge I had excellent care"

I had surgery to my shoulder in the Day Surgery Unit.

From admission to discharge I had excellent care.  I was a bit apprehensive about the procedure but the staff all put me at ease from the moment I arrived on the ward.  Would like to give a particular mention to the staff on the ward, Joanne, Nicola, Jodie and Susan, who gave me the most excellent care and put me at ease. Absolutely nothing was a bother to them.  They really do an amazing job!  It makes a huge difference to someone when they are nervous and I want them to know it means a lot. Sorry if I have forgotten anyone.

I would also like to say that my anaesthetic team were absolutely fantastic.  Cannot praise them enough. I was overly nervous about the nerve block before the surgery.  Peter was my anaesthetist and he could not have been more understanding. They totally put me at ease, making the whole experience pleasant from start to finish, making sure I was totally relaxed all the way through the procedure. He was very patient with me and nothing was a bother, and I just want to say a big thank you to him and his colleague, Gareth I think his name was, who was equally fantastic, caring and understanding.  Both brilliant at what they do.  

Last but not least, thank you to Carol who was my recovery nurse.

Everyone of you made my hospital experience a good one and would like to thank you all, you are all great at what you do.
