My experience on the DS in Ward 230 at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the OPAT clinic at Forth Valley Royal Infirmary:
I underwent spinal surgery for decompression of lumbar vertebrae and evacuation of a spinal abscess.
Every member of staff that I encountered during and following this procedure were exceptional. They were kind, compassionate and kept me informed of my condition through every step.
As a retired nurse, I feel so proud to be part of the NHS. I recognise the gold, standard care that I received.
The skills of all the practitioners I encountered were amazing. I will be eternally grateful for the care I received.
"I received gold standard care"
