"My late mother’s care"

About: Fife Community Services / Hospital at Home Fife Community Services / Integrated Community Assessment and Support Service Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a relative),

Mum fell and broke her hip. After a short spell in hospital she was discharged under the care of the Hospital at Home and ICASS teams.

The care and attention Mum received was absolutely first class.

She was re admitted to hospital with breathing difficulties before being released after a few days.

Unfortunately Mum’s condition deteriorated and after being rushed to Victoria Hospital she sadly passed away.

The carers who looked after Mum were brilliant, any problem that arose they managed to sort out quickly, without causing us any undue stress.

The Paramedics who attended were also excellent.

They dealt with the situation calmly and professionally and even took time to seek us out and offer condolences after Mum passed away in hospital.

Unfortunately, I can’t remember names, but I would like to thank the whole team for the excellent care and attention we received.
