About: Emergency Department / Minor Injuries

(as a service user),

I attended minor injuries last week with my son. He had injured his ankle & was assessed by Alan the physio. Despite it being a very busy shift for the staff on duty they were all friendly & put him at ease.

He attended X-ray & we were reassured that there were no broken bones but given a splint & advice on exercises to help the healing process.

Although the staff were busy they were all very kind & put him at ease.

I am sorry to read that your son needed to use the services of the Emergency Department here at University Hospital Wishaw. I was delighted to read your positive feedback around how the staff, in particular Alan, treated your son and I wish him a speedy recovery.
