"My breast cancer"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Breast care and breast surgery

(as the patient),

A year ago the Breast Cancer team at North Devon district Hospital saved my life. I cannot speak too highly of the kind, caring, sensitive and skilful way that I was treated. This was from everyone I encountered from the surgeon who was so, so lovely to the nurses, anaesthetist and all the supporting staff. I have been amazed at the support and follow up care that I have received over this past year.

For me, this has not been a traumatic experience although I acknowledge it is for many diagnosed with breast cancer. I wish to thank all those who have been part of my treatment for easing my way through this time.
