"Knowledge, compassion and professional advice"

About: Bedfordshire Community Health Services / Parkinson's

(as a carer),

The Bedford Parkinson's nurses are brilliant! My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2003 and they've been by our side ever since, supporting us with their knowledge, compassion and professional advice and signposting.

More recently we have been running the Parkinson's UK Bedford and District Support Group and have been working even more closely with the nurses who are keen to support our local Parkinson's community. They take the time to give educational talks about topics of interest and importance and provide input to events. We hear many other amazing stories of how they've helped other people in our group so would like to say a huge thank you to the whole team, past and present.
