My dad has Alzheimer's. Over the last six months, he has declined rapidly. As a family, we wanted to support my dad, who lived with me for as long as possible. The situation was incredibly hard as we were not being heard and had little support.
Sarah became our admiral nurse, and she was exceptional. She listened; she had a fountain of knowledge to share and went away and looked into everything for us. Sarah delivered compassionately and took our situation and circumstances into account. Sarah spoke to all the relevant professionals who were our advocates. Normally, Sarah would not have had us on her workload for as long as she did; however, because we still had ongoing issues, she made sure she was available and everything was in place for my dad and my family. If we didn't have Sarah's support, it would have made an already difficult situation even harder and created more pressure for my family.
We are eternally grateful for this service. We can not speak high enough of her professionalism.
"Eternally grateful for this service"
