"Incredibly kind and caring"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Surgery (wards 19, 20, 24, 26 &29)

(as a relative),

My dad was taken into ward 20 of the RAH in Paisley. He had a hole in his bowel which could not be operated on and was given 2 days to live. He survived for a full week in the ward and was looked after by a fantastic team of nursing assistants and nurses. The staff in that ward were incredibly kind and caring not only to my dad but to my mum and I too. I slept in his room for 6 nights out of the 7 and the staff there made sure that I was comfortable but more importantly they helped me too. I am so grateful to them. They could not have done more for my family and I hope that they get the recognition that they deserve.
