"We look forward to our regular updates"

About: Health visiting / Angus Health Visiting

(as a parent/guardian),

After quite a traumatic time giving birth in England whilst visiting family, it was great when we finally got home and settled with our little bundle of joy.

I had recently moved to Montrose to be with my partner and signed up with Castlegait Surgery and was allocated Shirley as health visitor. Right from the first visit she’s been fantastic with my daughter and a great help and support. She’s been there anytime I’ve needed to ask a question and was quick in helping determine that my little one had CMPA. I’m extremely grateful for her and her support and we look forward to our regular updates with and visits from her.

Dear Nicolag24

Firstly congratulations on the birth of your baby daughter.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your health visitor via Care Opinion.

Feedback is really important to the health visiting service as it allows us to hear directly from parents about the care and support they have received. This enables us to celebrate when health visiting care delivery has gone well( as in your case) and also provides us with opportunities to make improvements when this is required.

I will share your story with the health visitor involved so she can hear how beneficial her presence and ongoing support is to you and your family.

Best wishes and enjoy the ongoing parenthood journey.

Audrey
