After being unable to see GP, I made a visit to A&E a year ago assured all was fine, bar a mild anomaly found on a 2nd or 3rd ECG & assured nothing serious, I had then waited almost 10 months for scan, so chased it up because 6 month review by GP due. Within days appointment made. I was in & out in 2 hours, well treated & given assurance before scan etc.
The only problem was the catheter needed two attempts and the 2nd resulted on removal in 10 minutes before blood stopped.
A nice Doctor worried me, given my previous GP & the NHS assurances, because an angio-scan is now required. The Doctor explained that process, which I already understood was preventative measures & to enable if necessary, early mitigating &/or preventative action.
So far my experiences at Sandwell A&E (despite 12 hours there last year) & yesterday at Cardiolgy have been good; not so much my GP's however.
