(as the patient),

I went to SEHSCT Sexual and Reproductive Health at Lisburn Health Centre to have the Mirena Coil fitted.

I was called on time by the Health Care Assistant Danielle who was very friendly and professional, she put me at ease right from the start.

Dr Dawson was fantastic and I continued to feel at ease, she took time to speak with me, alleviate any concerns I had and provided excellent information on both the Mirena Coil and procedure beforehand.

The procedure itself was over before I had even realised and was pain free. I feel this was due to Dr Dawson being an exceptional physician and Danielle knowing exactly how to keep me from feeling nervous.

They worked so well together.

My entire appointment took only 30mins from start to finish.

I felt listened to, treated with respect and confident that I was in safe hands. My experience of using this service is 100% positive!
