We would like to say a very big thank you to everyone we had contact with at the Day Surgery Centre . My daughter had her tonsils out.
From the minute we walked in, everyone was helpful and nothing was too much. All staff was friendly and professional. Our lovely nurse was attentive, kind and compassionate. The communication was excellent and we could ask questions. My daughter was kept calm and distracted. We could not have asked for a better experience under the circumstances. All doctors and medical staff were brilliant with a sense of humour, making my daughter smile. The ward was clean and well equipped for children to entertain themselves. My daughter enjoyed colouring. We were looked after too and was offered hot drinks while waiting. Also our lovely nurse made sure i was alright when walking out of the “sleepy room” leaving my daughter in capable hands. You are all credit to our lovely hospital and our NHS.
