"School nurse made it fun for my daughter"

About: Children and Young People Services / School Nursing - P1 Assessments

(as a service user),

My daughter was seen for her assessment by school nursing nurse Karen from the Dungannon team.

Karen immediately made her feel comfortable and throughout each assessment the way Karen engaged with my daughter was brilliant, made it all fun and praised her.

Karen truly has an amazing way with children. Thank you Karen.

I am delighted that you and your daughter had such a good experience at your recent meeting with Karen one of our school nurses. The school nurses work very hard to engage children and parents at these contacts, this helps them to make the best assessment to identify if there are any supports required for the child.

I will pass on your kind words to Karen, I'm sure it will make her day.
