"Excellent Maternity Care"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Maternity

Maternity services have been excellent. Our son was delivered by emergency C section on the 05th April 2024, 10 weeks early.

All staff have been amazing both prior to and after our little one was Born.

Neonatal are caring for our little miracle and they are doing an excellent job and keeping us informed at all times of what is happening or what is going to happen! He really couldn’t be in a better place.

I am so grateful for everyone’s assistance and for them ensuring that our son arrived into the world safely, we will forever be in the debt of The Royal Devon & Exeter.

I work as part of the Maternity Transformation project with the local maternity and neonatal service to improve services for patients and staff.

Congratulation on your sons birth and thankyou so much for taking the time to give this lovely feedback especially when your son is still on the neonatal unit and you are obviously very busy.

It really means a lot to us all to hear positive stories such as yours and boosts the moral of all the staff to hear. So I will be sharing this with the Maternity and Neonatal teams.

I hope your son is doing well and that he will be home with you soon.
