"Exceptional consultant-led maternity care"

I had a very positive experience at the Vale of Leven Maternity Unit with my pregnancy in 2023. I was under the care of Dr Jadhav for my high risk pregnancy, and beforehand for pre-pregnancy testing and counselling.

The care I received throughout was exceptional. Dr Jadhav went above and beyond to manage my condition, my anxiety and wellbeing and I felt truly cared for and listened to. She is a wonderful consultant I can’t thank her enough for her expertise and compassion.

The midwives in the unit were also fantastic, and I felt were very thorough and reassuring. Special thanks to Yvonne and Andrea, and the midwives who visited me at home following the birth of my baby and provided helpful advice and support with feeding. Even down to the lovely team on the front desk, all the staff at the unit provided an excellent service, and made my difficult pregnancy a lot more manageable.
