"I cannot fault any part of my care"

I recently attended Day surgery for a laprascopic Cholecystectomy - I was under Miss Sharp.

I cannot fault any part of my care from entering day surgery right through to discharge.

The NHS gets bad press a lot and some people forget the skills these people have. I just wanted to show my thanks and appreciation for all the care.

Tracey on Day Surgery was so caring, making sure we had water to sip on and was just lovely.

I cannot remember a lot of the staff after my sedation in the anaesthetic room, the anesthetist Ailey (sorry if not spelled right) was so warm and caring along with all the other staff keeping me calm, talking about my daughter and just an overall positive experience. 

I came out of theatre and although I cannot remember names I won't forget the faces of the girls in recovery for keeping me warm, reassuring me and again just providing me with great care

I then was in day surgery where again all the girls were lovely offering me pain relief straight away and something to eat and quickly phoning my partner to update him. 

Miss Sharp attended quickly to check on how I was post op and explained exactly how the procedure went and was lovely to speak to. I cannot thank her enough for meeting me in the ward during admission and adding me to the list for this surgery.

I'm happy to be home recovering and looking forward to having no gallstones in the future.
