I started going through the menopause, but after a year of being menstrual free, i bled very mildly. A friend advised I speak to my GP who immediately sent me to out of hours.
This kickstarted a series of tests and examinations within days, cancer being one of them being investigated.
This led to a small biopsy at Pilgrim Hospital. To say i was nervous was an understatement, but the nurses caring for me at pilgrim were both professional, kind and understanding which helped me so much, particularly Stephanie, Hannah, Fola and Clare.
I still need to have an operation to be sure I am clear of anything substantial, but I want to thank everybody who has rushed to help me and reassure me these last few weeks.
