Dear ESHTPhysio
I apologise sincerely for missing my appointment yesterday without contacting you.
I had an appointment scheduled for 2.30pm in Hampden Park with Pioneer, the lymphoedema specialists. Unfortunately they were running very late. I was not able to leave until after 4.00pm and have to admit that it left me so confused that I overlooked my appointment with you. Once again, I am very sorry not to have contacted you.
You can verify this with Pioneer.
Having explained this, I was in any case going to suggest that the exercises I was given appear to have resolved my problems.
The swelling on my right elbow has gone and I no longer get any pain there.
The problem with the thumb on my left hand has also responded to the recommended exercises. I had thought it to be related to the carpel tunnel but whether or not, the pains have almost gone.
I was going to mention that I am unable to bend the index finger or the little finger on that hand ( the left). As I hadn't raised that with you before, should I begin again with a visit to my GP?
Sincerely
William Lovell
