"Pains and bleeding while pregnant "

About: New Cross Hospital

When into a&e because I was having pains and bleeding at 13 weeks pregnant. Had to wait 4 hours to been moved on into a different room to then wait 40 minutes to be seen. After being seen I then got told it was another 4 hour wait to be seen by a doctor who would most likely sent me to maternity or to see the gynaecologist. The reception

Rang both of them and I was told to wait until my scan and I shouldn’t be concerned. I didn’t actually get seen by a doctor or have any proper advice. I then went to my 12 week dating scan to be told the baby was no longer alive and I was going to miscarry. But because this on a Sunday I had to wait until Monday to be seen by the early pregnancy unit. I was told they would contact me but I rang then as I don’t receive a call and was told my notes hadn’t been passed on, they didnt have any record of my scan. After that the care I received has been lovely but a&e was a joke.
