About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Last week i had the privilege of seeing one of the senior consultants in the outpatient Dept. at Stoke mandeville.

I only wished I had this privilege 2.5 years ago where my needs would have been met.

However, this  happen because of incompetence of another hospital.

At SM I was listened to and examined properly, explained my Qs was answered. Though the outcome was not what I hoped for but it was out of hand of this Brilliant consultant due to lapse of time.

I thank every one in this unit.

Thank you for giving the chance. I have also attended another Department in the outpatients and I feel the same about them.

I would love to see this as a template for other hospitals or indeed care places where there is a concern.

I don't believe in lack of money or lack of staff.

It's lack of understanding which causes all sorts of problem for patients and care givers.
