"Excellent service and care for mum"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency Royal Alexandra Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 21-23) Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a relative),

Mum was admitted by ambulance to Paisley RAH last week. We found every stage of her care to be excellent, from the ambulance staff who brought her in after a fall, triage staff, doctors, nurses in Accident and Emergency through to the Ward 23 staff in the hospital.

The level of care, diligence and attention shown to Mum during her 6 day stay was excellent. Credit please to everyone involved in her care.

We also observed a very positive, 'can do' attitude across all the departments, with excellent levels of communication and time taken to explain all the steps in her care.

Please pass on the very due credit to the NHS Staff. Thank you.

Dear LisaGo

Thank you for sharing your story. It must have been a very worrying time so I am glad to read that you are happy with the care your mum received.

If you would like me to pass on your thanks to the ambulance crew may I ask that you contact our Patient Experience Team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your name, Care Opinion name, your mum's name and the address and date we attended.

I do hope she is feeling better now.

Kindest regards

David
