"First class care"

About: West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance)

I walked into Urgent Care with chest pains and was seen immediately. The staff were all friendly, caring and efficient, wasting no time, but also reassuring me. My bloods were taken and tested and my diagnosis explained to me in detail. I was also advised that should I have any worries, I could always go back to the Urgent Care unit. It was outstanding NHS care, I was extremely grateful and happy with it.

Good afternoon

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you on here.

I am pleased to see that all of the staff you encountered were friendly, caring, efficient and reassuring. I am glad that everything was explained to you in detail and that you have the reassurance of going back to the Urgent Care Unit should you have any worries. It is great that you had such a positive experience and I hope you are recovering well.

I am writing to you as a member of the Patient Experience team, but I will ensure your kind words are passed over to the team on the Urgent Care Unit.

Thank you, again, for sharing your story with us.

Thank you

Megan
