"A very bad experience"

About: Horizon Healthcare

Tried to get an appointment, could never get one as always told all appointments are gone. Was on a repeat prescription for a number of drugs, these ceased and no more were provided, this coincided with covid pandemic. My surgery were aware of health condition yet no seemed to want to help me. My health has gone down during the last 3 years as I could not see a doctor face to face. Recently I have been to derby royal, where they performed a number of test, yet my surgery say they have not received the final results.

Regarding your experience with your repeat prescription medication, please be assured that medications are only ceased in very rare cases, typically when it is deemed unsafe to continue prescribing them. Prescribers are legally obligated to ensure the safety of patients before signing a prescription. If essential monitoring has not been conducted as required, the prescriber must make a decision based on the patient's safety whether to continue or discontinue the medication.

Regarding the test results from your recent visit to Derby Royal, please understand that we can only access these results if they have been sent to us by the hospital.
