"Reassurance sought and got."

About: Sloan Medical Centre

After aortic valve surgery 18/3/24 I came out 28/3 from NGH.

After lots of checks in hospital and having atrial fibrillation and slight blockage issues too I was at home 8 days with no check ins.

As my progress felt slow and worrying I contacted Sloan under the new triage system for a Dr to check my vitals etc.

Within an hour was given an appt to see Dr before midway.

The Dr did a full check of my BP/oxygen levels, pulse and heart rhythm plus chest infection check.

This gave me a lot of reassurance that although my progress remains slow my vitals not out of cync.

This has been a good fillip to my worries

now before I get further hospital checks

as part of my rehabilitation.

I found once I got onto the online triage service it was quite easy to navigate.

Thank you Sloan.
