Having never been through this service before it was quite concerning, initially had a great experience and care in the rapid cardiac unit (this unit is excellent and Michelle is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable and brilliant at talking through everything) and was referred on for further tests.
At this point it didn't go well, no interaction with anyone nor a cardiologist, no provision to ask questions nor speak to anyone about concerns relating to my health nor ask if there was any correlation with an existing condition.
I received a letter and that was all and a further appointment that was apparently a mistake.
Very poor way of dealing with patients and has put me off ever following NHS advice to ask for help if concerned. I feel like I was an annoyance or inconvenience to Cardiology in the hospital.
