What a wonderful experience and the best care!
I fell pregnant with my first baby last year and gave birth at Treliske via planned C Section in February 2024. Our daughter was breech which we discovered at 36 weeks. From the moment we found out, the breech team took care of us in the best possible way. We had so much guidance with the well supported option for a natural delivery (which was our plan A)
We had so many worries and questions along the way but the team (especially midwife Ellie) had so much patience with us, gave us so much information and supported our choices wholeheartedly.
We planned a C section for plan B which ended up being how our daughter was born. The C section team knew I was apprehensive about the birth and were brilliant in helping keep me calm and helped make it a magical experience! The midwives taking care of us on the post natal ward were wonderful and caring too.
So we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone involved. It was such a positive experience and we are very grateful for the safe delivery of our baby girl.
"What a wonderful experience and the best care"
