When I first rang this morning I made an appointment for Stafford clinic but when the confirmation came through they made it for Burton. I rang up and finally sorted it out, I arrived at Stafford clinic ten mins before my appointment time. I wasn’t seen for another 50 minutes and when I finally got in I got told I had been booked in with the wrong nurse so had to wait even longer.

The nurses were excellent and pointed out to the receptionists that I had been waiting along time however, the receptionists seem to need more training.

I would firstly like to thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback which does mean a lot to our team and is an important contribution to learning and service improvement.

I am sorry for the confusion regarding your appointment. Our receptionists book multiple appointments at multiple locations around the region. To maintain confidentiality, our reception staff are trained to ask minimal information to help guide them to book our patients into the correct appointment with the correct clinician. I am sorry this wasn’t that case for your appointment. We will use your experience as learning at our next meeting.
