About: Emergency Department / Minor Injuries

(as a parent/guardian),

My son (7) had gone over his ankle whilst at a skate park. We arrived at Wishaw General A&E and it was really busy.

Luckily, the MIU was quiet and we were seen for an X-ray within about 10 minutes. ❤️

Staff were fab, really helpful, friendly and great with my wee boy.

Thank you for sharing your experience in University Hospital Wishaw, Minor Injuries.

I'm sorry to hear of your son's injury. It wouldn't be a school holiday without an injury - well that's always been my experience! I am so pleased to see that you were able to be seen in the minor injuries very quickly and could get an X Ray within 10 minutes. It must have been very reassuring for you that the staff were kind, professional and very good with your son.

I look forward to passing on your kind words to the whole team who I am sure will be delighted to hear your positive feedback and this will give them a real boost.
