"The staff were simply amazing"

About: Adult Health Services / Hospital at Home General practices in Lanarkshire University Hospital Hairmyres / General Medicine (Wards 9-12)

(as a service user),

My elderly mother had a chest infection and did not want to go to hospital so was assigned to hospital at home .

Her GP visited in the morning and by the afternoon the hospital at home had been to see my mum with a diagnosis and the medication required to improve her health. Thereafter the hospital at home visited my mum everyday .

The staff were simply amazing and the care they provide is a first class service. My mum does not like to go to a doctor and this service allowed for my mum to be cared for at home with her family. 

We honestly cannot thank you enough
