"A very dedicated district nurse"

About: Community Nursing / District Nursing

(as a service user),

My wife injured her leg due to the car door slamming on it although the skin was not broken the resultant bruising caused the wound to blister and bleed

Garry attended as the district nurse, quickly assessed the situation and set a course of action which included twice weekly visits to apply compression bandage to help reduce the swelling and to prevent any infection

This began in January this year and the wound has been healing nicely, we are now down to once a week visits and the wound has been healing nicely.

Garry put my wife at ease immediately and explained at every stage what he was doing and why

He is a very dedicated district nurse and is a real diamond to work with so much so my wife misses his care and attention when he is off on holiday and cannot attend to her wound.

Very pleased to have met him and have him attend to her wound
