I was concerned because of stories from others about New Cross but the experience for my colonoscopy was actually really good, I was seen fast and doctors/nurses were great, letter said 12 and I had the procedure about 12:30
and given sufficient sedatives/painkilling, procedure was fast and comfortable, and then nurses afterwards were great and I only had to stay for around 30 mins post procedure even with sedatives
Only issue was on the admin side as I didn't receive my appointment confirmation by post until less than a day before my appointment at 6:50pm by courier when I had to start taking the laxatives at 7pm, and I was considering not going because no one in central booking team could tell me and endoscopy number closes at 4:30pm, according to what I was told on the phone endoscopy don't give details of appointments centrally, so allowing this would be helpful to reduce stress from patients where appointment letters aren't coming through well in advance
