"My GP appointment "

I’ve been struggling with chest pains heart palpitations, fatigue, dizziness, headaches, nausea ect

I went to a and e and they we’re concerned about my heart rate as it was shooting up when I stood up

They referred me back to my gp to get a 24 hour heart monitor

I went to see my gp he was so uninterested on what I was trying to explain to him

The first things he asked me if I was anxious not taking into account my symptoms

He didn’t even examine me or check my heart rate or blood pressure

He simply sat there and said I need to exercise more

I’m not overweight at all I’m a normal weight for my age

I explained to him my symptoms have been persistent for 3 months which is preventing me from working

After the appointment when I went to reception he asked me if I recorded our conversation which I didn’t do. And said if I wanted to record the appointment I would need to ask for permission

I felt I wasn’t Listened to and completely disregarded because of my age

I have change gp now hoping I don’t get the same outcome
