"Child’s AE department "

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

I can not highly speak of my experience we had taking our little boy in on his birthday due to a fractured bone x2 - the nurses were outstanding , thoughtful and caring towards my boy, making his trip extra special and even singing happy birthday to him. I can not believe how people leave the waiting room and expecting nurses/cleaners to clean up after them, nurses being as busy as they are and then also cleaning I think is disgraceful, as a human being clean up after yourself.

We were treated with the best care , respect throughout our visit! My little boy was so happy even though it wasn’t the best place to be on his birthday. Thank you

Dear Bennett,

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback regarding your experience at the Emergency Department (Children) at Wythenshawe Hospital. It is unfortunate that your child experienced a painful encounter on his birthday. It gives us pleasure that the team were able to provide you support during this difficult time. It is always good to read such positive words in response to the conscientious work of all our staff and great to hear that you found our colleagues to be so compassionate and professional. We have forwarded your message for sharing with all the staff involved who will really appreciate your comments.

Yours sincerely,
