About: The Lanarkshire Beatson University Hospital Wishaw / General Surgery (Wards 16-18)

(as the patient),

I had surgery to remove a tumour and lymph nodes at Wishaw General. The staff throughout the whole experience were exceptional. Ms McIlhenny took the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions I had. The nursing team have been excellent, Fleur was lovely and reassured me all afternoon. I felt like I was treated as an individual with respect and was listened to.
