"Fast track for a hysteroscopy"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

 I was put on fast track for a Hysteroscopy. My womb lining was showing it was too thick.

I was made to feel very comfortable. Stephanie,Emma and Tina were lovely. Everything was explained in detail to me and lots of reassurance given.

The procedure was uncomfortable but Stephanie continued to talk to me explaining what she was doing. Tina was a great hand holder and very soothing.

A biopsy was taken and sent off. I was left with slight cramping pain like period pain. But once pain relief was taken it was much better.

Thankfully I got the results and everything was all clear.
