I have been very impressed with CHEC, Nottingham. 5 weeks after being referred by my Optician I have had cataracts removed from both eyes and can see really well.
At the last moment the Consultant suggested I have a lower prescription in one eye this has meant I can read and see in the distance which is amazing. I think this should be explored earlier as I wasn’t aware I could have a different lens in each eye.
The procedure was very straightforward and efficient, I had both eyes done and it took 30 minutes so the whole experience took 1 hour 20 minutes which is amazing. Everyone was very pleasant and efficient. I am very grateful.
