I am a first time mum, we had our baby boy 3weeks ago.
From my very first midwife appointment I felt at ease and relaxed. My community midwife team were great, friendly and informative, no question was silly and anytime I had a query I added it to the badger app and I always got a prompt response.
I was induced at the hospital as I was now 10days over my due date.
The hospital staff were lovely, the midwife and student nurse I had looking after me were amazing, friendly and reassuring all the way from the start to the finish.
In fact my midwifes Nightshift had came to an end but she insisted she wanted to stay until our baby was born, her and the student stayed with me they went above and beyond to help me.
In the end I had a kiwi delivery and the doctor that came in to do this for me was absolutely amazing, she took was friendly and reassuring, also very patient and listened to me.
I cannot fault the NHS, the care I had was above and beyond, I am grateful for each person that played a part in my care.
